The North Castle Recreation 2013 Spring Summer Brochure is almost ready and will soon be posted on the Town’s website. The tri-fold pamphlet which lists the programs in spring and summer will soon be mailed to all Town residents. For a early preview of the tri-fold click here.Mail-in registration for all spring and summer programs, including Town day camps, begins Monday, March 11. Walk-in registration begins Monday, March 18. Do not delay in registering as programs can get filled or cancelled. Please call us if you have any questions, 273-3325.
New Spring Programs!We are pleased to offer some new programs this spring for youth and adults. In partnership with US Sports Institute, we have several options forpre-schoolers including “Parent and Me Total Sport Squirts” and “Parent and Me Soccer Squirts” for 2 and 3 year olds plus “Total Sport Squirts” and “Total Soccer Squirts” for ages 3, 4, and 5. Registration begins March 11 and March 18, as noted above.Plus, for adults, we are adding a recreational soccer program to be held at the North Castle Community Center in North White Plains on Tuesday evenings. North East WestchesterSpecial RecreationNorth East Westchester Special Recreation is a community-based therapeutic recreation agency serving children andadults with developmental disabilities in the north east portion of Westchester County. The Town of North Castle is one community that makes up the consortium, and as such, residents of North Castle may participate in programs offered by North East Westchester Special Recreation. Town Holiday 2/18Monday, February 18 is a Town Holiday in honor of President’s Day. The Recreation Office will be closed. Additionally, since schools are closed for winter recess next week, most recreation programs are suspended for the week. Please check your receipt for program dates, or call our office if you are unsure.If the North Castle Recreation staff can be of any assistance to you, please call us at 273-3325 or visit us at Hergenhan Recreation Center. , has formed a Beautification sub-committee in Banksville. The first meeting will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013, 9:00 am at the Banksville Firehouse. Diane welcomes all interested Banksville residents to attend this first meeting and join the committee.
