The cofounder and president of Eventbrite, which recently raised $20 million in C-round funding, says her company is democratizing ticket sales by merging e-commerce and social networking. Using the site’s interface, event organizers can set up ticket sales and publicize their events using Facebook, Twitter and other social-networking tools. But the mompreneur also refers to Eventbrite as her second baby. Not unusual; along with a young daughter, she shares the company with her cofounder husband Kevin. 2010 saw $200 million in gross ticket sales.
