Lamar Odom’s Bachelor Pad Listed for Rent: $8,000/Month

Source: Missjia.com

Before getting hitched to reality TV star, Khloé Kardashian, LA Lakers’ forward, Lamar Odom, enjoyed the single life at his 4,000-sq ft bachelor pad in Manhattan Beach, CA. Almost in-sync with the announcement of Lamar and Khloé’s sudden engagement and plans to rush to the alter, the 5-bedroom, 6-bathroom home hurtled into the market with an asking price of $2,399,000 — 11.1 percent less than the $2.7 million Odom paid for the home in 2006. After a little more than three months on the market, Odom’s Manhattan Beach home was un-listed and the celebrity real estate world was quickly abuzz  with news of the newlywed’s new mansion in Tarzana, CA. Public records show the couple purchased their new home in Dec. 2009 for $3.95 million.

Now that Odom and Khloé, the youngest of the Kardashian sister trio,  have been happily married for over a year and recently premiered their E! reality series “Khloé and Lamar,” the dynamic duo is ready to try and find someone to take Odom’s Manhattan Beach home off their hands. This time, however, they are looking for renters, not buyers.

Just a few days ago Odom’s pre-Kardashian pad hit the Manhattan Beach real estate market as a rental, asking $8,000/month. Features of Odom’s rental include a step-down living room with two-story ceilings, formal dining room, kitchen with breakfast nook, large family room with fireplace and full wet bar, in-ground pool and spa, outdoor gas fire pit, and BBQ area.

Ed Kaminsky of Shorewood Realtors holds the listing.
