Let us remember and honor those who have served our country in uniform. For those who served, those who still are serving and those who honor them, this is a time to reflect on the millions of men and women of the United States Armed Forces who put their duty to country ahead of their own safety and lives. Whether or not this Nation is at war or in a state of readiness, as it always must be, we are profoundly grateful for the courage and selflessness of the veterans who have served our Nation and protected our freedoms. I ask all citizens of Bedford to join me this Veterans Day in honoring our veterans and those on active and reserve duty, together with their families. |
